In today's edition of Auburn Tigers News, big man Johni Broome will run it back for another season with Auburn basketball and CBS Sports releases their latest mock draft

Yesterday, Auburn basketball star center Johni Broome announced on his social media that he will be returning for another season with Bruce Pearl and the Tigers. It's massive news for the Tigers, who should have a genuine shot at a deep run in the NCAA tournament next year with the team that Pearl is reloading.

Broome, who averaged 16.5 points and 8.5 rebounds last season will join Dylan Cardwell and Chris Moore on the list of seniors returning for another year. Denver Jones and Chad Baker-Mazara will also return, and they will be joined by incoming freshman guard Tahaad Pettiford.

"He improved from 2, he improved from 3, he improved from the foul line, he improved his assist-to-turnover ratio," Pearl said about Broome, per Auburn Undercover. "He improved defensively. As a result of his improvement and us finishing the regular season ranked in the top 10, he was one of a handful of guys that weren't on the preseason All-American team that was on the postseason, end of the year. Progress. Work. Not crowned."
