In front of a Hancock Whitney Stadium crowd comprised of fans from all over, including a large contingent of the Auburn football faithful, Bo Nix "likely" solidified his case to be selected in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft according to Bleacher Report's Mike Chiari.

"Another quarterback who likely helped his cause in the Senior Bowl was Bo Nix, who went 4-of-5 for 21 yards and a touchdown as the National team quarterback," Chiari prefaced before saying, "After completing 77.4 percent of his passes for 4,508 yards, 45 touchdowns and three interceptions this past season at Oregon, Nix has a legitimate chance to sneak into the first round.

"Talent evaluators seem to be split on whether Nix can excel at the next level, but it is tough to ignore his production against a high level of competition."

Former Auburn football QB Bo Nix accused of hurting draft stock during Senior Bowl week

Nix having such a profound turnaround from Senior Bowl week practice is heartwarming. GMENHQ's Braulio Perez was down on Nix to the point where he saw the quarterback as tremendously hurting his draft stock.

"While he's had some decent throws, a major disappointment thus far has been the play of Oregon star quarterback Bo Nix," Perez wrote. "Nix is coming off a huge year for the Ducks and he's widely considered a first-round pick. He's been linked with the NY Giants, but the feeling is he's hurting his stock tremendously right now."

Course has been reversed, and Nix is now being touted as a potential first-round selection; usually the situation a future franchise QB finds himself in from the jump of his NFL career. After five years between AU and Oregon, the Pinson native leaves the familiar comfort of college football for the big leagues after his near-perfect Senior Bowl finale.
