Incoming Auburn football blue-chip quarterback recruit Walker White continues to follow in Bo Nix's footsteps -- signing with the same NIL agency the 2024 NFL draft prospect did after NIL became prominent in Nix's junior year.

QB Reps’ chief marketing officer Doug Young spoke highly of White, who is not only turning heads on the Plains with his arm talent, but also with his character.

“We’re excited for Walker to begin his college career at Auburn,” Young said (h/t On3). “He’s a great football player, but more importantly an incredible human being and leader. It’s an honor to work with him.”

Bo Nix believes Walker White is destined for big things with Auburn football

Nix, like Young and just about anyone else who has met White, sung the Little Rock Christian Academy star's praises; projecting big things for Hugh Freeze's first blue-chip quarterback recruit out of high school.

“I know they’re getting a really good player,” Nix said of White during Senior Bowl media day in Mobile on Jan. 31 (h/t AL.com). “They’re getting a good guy, too. I understand that he works really hard and he’s a great teammate.

“I expect him to have a fun career. He’s going to be able to learn and pick up a lot because I’ve just heard the people he’s worked with in the past and everyone I’ve talked to speaks very high about him. I’ve only been able to talk to him a few times and be around him just a couple, but I think Auburn got a good one.”

Nix did add a harrowing caveat.

“I just hope they give him a chance,” Nix said of White.

If White gets his chance, it's possible he can reach Nix levels of success, at a minimum, on the Plains. With Freeze preferring the QBs he recruited, there's a great chance that White will receive that opportunity.
