The official Auburn X account addressed Jordan-Hare Stadium being No. 14 on EA Sports College Football 25 video game's "toughest places to play" list on June 25 -- simply stating that "It’s already known where the toughest place to play is."

A video of Fast Life Yungstaz' "Swag Surfin'" blaring on the speakers with the accompanying JHS swag surf ritual, and the stadium's infamous fourth quarter light show, played under the statement.

Because a football game is not being played on the Plains without most of a crowd of 86,000-plus showing unity and banding together to bring the noise for the Auburn Tigers.

Lack of recent Auburn football success keeps Jordan-Hare Stadium low on EA Sports College Football 25 'toughest places to play' list

Perhaps those who made the list haven't been to JHS, or perhaps they just don't want to be clowned on for including a team that has largely struggled the past few seasons and isn't seen as a tough place to play since the team has been lackluster relative to its history.

The Tigers may well be victims of their own failures during the short-lived Bryan Harsin era and even during year one of Hugh Freeze's tenure. It's hard to imagine an Auburn coming off a winning season, or better, like in the early 2010s, and being ranked at No. 14. In most eras, they're cracking the top 10, and could've gotten top-five, as in not two, three, four, or five, at AU's peak.

But losing by double digits at home to a first-year Conference USA team sticks in people's heads.

Come EA Sports College Football 26, the Tigers may have jumped schools like Wisconsin and Florida that may still be in the thick of their struggles. For now, though, AU doesn't have clout after three down years.
