Which Auburn football commits are playing in the AL/MS All-Star Game?
This weekend, the best football players from the states of Alabama and Mississippi will come together and play the 37th Annual Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic. Several future Auburn football players will be competing in the contest, as well as some players who are recruiting targets for the Tigers.
The four commits representing Auburn football are wide receivers Bryce Cain and Malcolm Simmons, defensive lineman Malik Blocton, and edge Jamonta Waller.
4-star Bryce Cain is ranked as the #13 player out of the state of Alabama and is the #34 wide receiver in the recruiting class of 2024. Out of Baker High School in Mobile, AL, Cain committed to the Tigers back in June after playing only two years of football ever. He put up monster numbers in his senior year, and will arrive on the Plains in a few weeks.
Malcolm Simmons is a 4-star ATH from Alexander City, AL, and is ranked as the #18 player out of Alabama. He committed to the Tigers at the end of July and plans to arrive on campus in the summer. Alongside the likes of Cain, Cam Coleman, and Perry Thompson, the Tigers are potentially bringing in their best wide receiver corps ever.
Malik Blocton is the younger brother of Auburn football defensive lineman Marcus Harris, who just announced he would be foregoing his final year of eligibility to declare for the NFL Draft. Blocton, from Pike Road, AL, is ranked as the #23 player out of the state of Alabama and is the #46 defensive lineman in the recruiting class of 2024. He committed to the Tigers in July of this year.
Finally, the last Auburn football commit playing in this weekend's game is Jamonta Waller, the only future Tiger on the Mississippi roster. The 4-star edge originally committed to Florida over the summer, but flipped his commitment to the Tigers in November. Waller is ranked as the #2 player out of the state of Mississippi and the #6 edge in the recruiting class of 2024.
