Talented Auburn offensive lineman intends to enter transfer portal after two seasons

The former 4-star recruit appeared in all 12 games for the Tigers in 2024.

Auburn’s offensive line took a hit on Sunday evening as DeAndre Carter announced that he intends to enter the transfer portal.

Per CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz, the former 4-star recruit in the 2024 signing class who appeared in every game for the Tigers this season as a redshirt freshman will look for greener pastures.

Out of powerhouse Mater Dei HS in Santa Ana, Calif., Carter was ranked the 15th-ranked interior offensive lineman in his class, choosing the Tigers over USC, Georgia and Texas, among many others.
