Bold Prediction No. 5: The Auburn Tigers Will Be The Nation’s Most Talked About Team on National Signing Day
There is already a lot of talk about Auburn in the recruiting world. Two big reasons are Muschamp and T-Rob, who both returned to the Plains with huge reputations as all-star recruiters. Unfortunately for the Tigers, that hasn’t translated to any new commitments.
That will change on February 4.
Recapping our previous predictions, if Cowart signs with the Tigers and brings a blue-chipper or two with him, then a committed Tiger flips elsewhere, but the Tigers steal a recruit in return, Auburn will be the talk of National Signing Day.

Sure, Alabama will win another mythical national title with the top ranked class. Florida State is stockpiling talent again, and Georgia, Tennessee and Texas A&M, among others, are expected to clean up in early February.
But the new Tigers and the stories that surround them will be the stars of the show.
As it stands, the 2015 Auburn recruiting class is ranked 11th in the nation (and fifth in the SEC) by 247Sports. ESPN has the Tigers tenth nationally and also fifth in the league. With two five-stars added, in addition to a couple of four-stars like Holland, and a wide receiver or two (John Burt and Ryan Davis being possibilities), Auburn could sky-rocket.
Currently, Alabama, Ohio State and Florida are the only teams with two or more five-star prospects committed to their programs. That means the Tigers might have a shot at one of the country’s top five recruiting classes if all goes well.
And if that happens, expect to hear a lot of chatter about the Tigers.
