Auburn football recruiting is expected to heat up big time by early signing day, but until then the coaching staff is working hard on prospects all over the country. Visitors will arrive on the Plains throughout the rest of the season, and there’s still plenty of time for the class of 2022 to grow.

With the early signing period right around the corner, several of the Tigers’ class of 2022 commits have taken it upon themselves to recruit prospects for their future team. From Darrius Clemons to Marquise Gilbert to Antonio Williams, it’s clear that the 2022 Tigers not only care about their spot on the team but also the people that they surround themselves with.

First-year head coach Bryan Harsin has worked all season long to instill a culture change in the locker room and create a team that works hard to win big, and clearly, the recruits are excited to keep that going into next season.

The latest recruiting target of Auburn football commits Damari Alston, Holden Geriner, Drew Bobo, and others is 4-star offensive tackle Malik Agbo, who will be on the Plains next weekend for an official visit with the Tigers:

Agbo is currently ranked as the #5 recruit out of the state of Washington and the #21 OT in the recruiting class of 2022. Auburn Undercover reports that wide receivers coach Eric Kiesau attended one of Agbo’s games last month, which definitely made an impression on the OT.

Other schools going after the offensive tackle include Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, and Miami. He will officially visit Florida after Auburn, so his OV to the Plains will be important in securing his commitment.
