Auburn football is on the road this weekend to go up against their second ranked SEC opponent in as many weeks. The #12 Tigers will head into College Station as the underdog against the #13 Texas A&M Aggies to try and pull off their third straight conference win.

Like the Tigers, the Aggies are 6-2 this season with back-to-back losses from Arkansas and Mississippi State at the end of September. However, they rebounded with their defeat of Alabama and followed it up with victories over Mizzou and South Carolina.

Though the Aggies are on a roll, here are three reasons why Auburn football will take down Texas A&M in Week 10:

Reason #1: Auburn football is undefeated at Kyle Field

Since Texas A&M joined the Southeastern Conference in 2012, they’ve hosted the Auburn Tigers four times, and every single time they’ve lost. Auburn football is 4-0 at Kyle Field.

The Tigers play in one of the loudest stadiums of the country at home, have already played at Beaver Stadium in a whiteout, and stole a victory from LSU in Death Valley at night. Whatever type of home-field advantage the Aggies think they have, it’s likely not going to have any effect whatsoever on first-year head coach Bryan Harsin’s team.

Aggies head coach Jimbo Fisher commented on A&M never beating Auburn at home, per Saturdays Down South:

"“People have made that aware to me,” Fisher said. “… That happens at times. Hopefully, that’ll break this week. You’re gonna have to play great. Teams in this league get used to playing on the road because of the number of hostile environments.”"

Although this weekend’s game is a sellout, a good chunk of those fans should be wearing orange and blue, and the noise is nothing the Tigers aren’t used to.
