Has Auburn football officially found their new offensive coordinator? Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin wants everyone to believe it’s true, apparently, after posting an image of the Auburn University Regional Airport to his Twitter.

Tracking university flights is all the rage these days with so many programs looking for new head coaches. From LSU to Miami to Oregon to Oklahoma, the coaching carousel continues to spin, and Lane Kiffin decided to add to the drama going on within Auburn football Twitter.

Of course, Lane Kiffin isn’t actually backing out of his job as Ole Miss football’s head coach for the offensive coordinator position at Auburn, but fans enjoyed his joke, nevertheless:

We all know that Kiffin loves to stir the pot, but what is he actually on the Plains for? Now that the Bo Nix transfer rumors have died down, no one seems to be freaking out that Kiffin could be on his way to steal our QB1. Another possibility is that he could be going after former OC Mike Bobo’s son Drew Bobo, who is reportedly expected to de-commit since his father’s removal from the program.

Others pose the theory that Kiffin could be flying into Auburn to visit Opelika defensive back and Ole Miss commit Jarell Stinson, who was committed to the Tigers earlier this year. No matter what he’s in town for and how good it sounds–or what he posts on Twitter–it’s likely that Lane Kiffin is not going to be Auburn football’s next offensive coordinator.

Why AU is considering this former FCS coach for OC. dark. Next
