Is the weeks-long Bryan Harsin saga finally coming to an end? After spending days throwing around accusations and sullying the national image of the Auburn football program, it’s beginning to look like things will end right where they started– with Bryan Harsin as the head coach of the Tigers.

If you’ve been following the tumultuous situation from the start, you will remember that one group that never wavered in its support of Harsin is the actual student-athletes. From former team leaders to those choosing to return for their optional COVID year to the incoming class of 2022, the players have stood behind their coach throughout this mess.

Finally, it’s being reported by Pete Thamel of ESPN that Auburn University is expected to announce today that they will retain Harsin as the head coach:

Although the Powers That Be have made it clear that they don’t support Bryan Harsin, he will likely emerge from this mess with more support than ever from the fans, who have declared that a Harsin return for 2022 means a victory of the Board of Trustees and the boosters.

With answers on the horizon, Auburn football players have taken to Twitter to emphasize their support of Harsin and their determination to have a successful 2022 season:

Hopefully, with all this behind the program, Bryan Harsin can get back to recruiting and coaching to improve Auburn football and compete for championships.
