The coaching staff of Auburn football has taken recruiting efforts to the next level in head coach Bryan Harsin’s second season on the Plains, criss-crossing the state of Alabama and the country in order to create a top-notch class in 2023.

Just this week, the Tigers offered a pair of 4-star athletes from neighboring states that are projected at multiple positions on the college level.

The first is Ahmad Brown, who is ranked as the #637 overall prospect and #58 at his position in the recruiting class of 2023 as well as the #57 recruit out of the state of Georgia. Brown earned his offer from wide receivers coach Ike Hilliard, who extended the offer on Thursday during a phone conversation, per Auburn Live:

"“Coach Hilliard called and told me he had the green light to give me the offer,” Brown said. “It’s his first year and he said to just give him a chance.”“I’m definitely listening,” Brown said. “I’m taking everything in.”"

Brown could play several positions at the next level, but is being recruiting by Auburn football to play wide receiver, which is no surprise because of the extreme need the Tigers have at the position. While the ATH has not yet visited campus, he plans to later this summer.

The second Auburn offer was extended to 4-star Kelton Henderson, who is ranked as the #296 overall prospect and the #21 ATH in the recruiting class of 2023 as well as the #56 recruit out of the state of Florida.

Henderson could play wide receiver, running back, or defensive back in collegiate ball, according to Auburn Live, but it is not known which position he is being recruited to play at Auburn although it may be significant that the offer was extended by running backs coach Cadillac Williams.

Both Ahmad Brown and Kelton Henderson would be great additions to the Tigers’ 2023 roster.
