The Auburn football team just finished hosting recruits from multiple recruiting classes on campus for the biggest recruiting event of the summer. Big Cat Weekend resulted in two commits for the Tigers’ class of 2024 in addition to increased confidence about several targets from the class of 2023.

One of the Tigers’ newest commits is 4-star quarterback Adrian Posse from Miami, Florida. Listed as the #184 overall prospect and the #13 quarterback in the recruiting class of 2024, Posse is also the #34 recruit out of the Sunshine State.

The Miami native announced his commitment at Big Cat Weekend after visiting the Plains twice over the summer. He and his family bonded with the coaching staff and believe in their future at Auburn.

However, Auburn football is still recruiting another 4-star quarterback in the class of 2024 in Air Noland, so what does the commitment of Adrian Posse mean to Noland? According to Auburn Live, Noland has no issue with being part of a two-quarterback class:

"“If I was to go to a school like Auburn, competition is important at the quarterback position,” Noland said."

Even with another quarterback already committed, Noland is still strongly considering Auburn football. He described the program as being at the top of his list and noted that the coaching staff continues to stand out for him.

Noland said that the other programs standing out to him the most are Miami, West Virginia, Duke, Vanderbilt, and Wake Forest. As for when he may make a decision, the Langston Hughes High standout plans to commit either during or after his upcoming season. He also plans to return to the Plains on September 17, the weekend the Tigers host Penn State.

With the depth that Auburn football currently has at the quarterback position, it’s very possible that the Tigers don’t take a quarterback in the class of 2023, so getting two in the class of 2024 would be a big deal. For now, it seems that the Tigers are locked and loaded when it comes to recruiting the QB position.
