Over the weekend, the Auburn football program hosted a bunch of recruits on their official visits to the Plains. One of those visitors was 4-star linebacker TJ White.

From Jackson, Mississippi, White is ranked as the No. 7 linebacker in the recruiting class of 2026 and the No. 5 recruit out of his home state. His official visit to Auburn's campus this weekend was his first trip to the Plains, and he had a definitive statement when asked how he liked his time.

"I mean, after this, Auburn is a top school," White said, per Auburn Rivals. "It's going to be a lot to think about."

Auburn football got White's second official visit, after a trip to North Carolina in April. Still left on his schedule are Florida State, Tennessee, and Mississippi State.

On the Plains, White got to spend a lot of time with defensive coordinator DJ Durkin, and the linebacker was impressed with Durkin's demeanor and his track record with developing LBs. He also spent time with redshirt freshman buck linebacker Jamonta Waller, who is also from Mississippi.

"I really got to see the campus, see the scheme fit and where I would play," White said. "When I got here, I went up to Coach Durkin's office and we talked about it. Then I had a good time the rest of the time with Jamonta Waller, my Mississippi boy."

White hopes to have an official decision sometime in August or July after he finishes all his official visits. For now, the Auburn football program sits in a good spot with the linebacker.
