It’s only been eight weeks since Auburn jogged out of Jordan-Hare after a heartbreaking loss to Alabama, but fans are already eyeing the Tigers’ 2026 season opener against Baylor in Atlanta. Fortunately, former Tiger wide receiver Jeris McIntyre recently revealed Auburn’s spring practice dates.

The Tigers will practice three days per week during a month-long span beginning on March 17. Spring practice will conclude with the annual A-Day game held at Jordan-Hare Stadium on April 18. The Tiger Walk will occur before the game. In addition, players will be on the field to sign autographs afterwards.

Tickets will be available for purchase on February 3.

Alex Golesh starts spring practice with high hopes

Spring practice and the A-Day game will give fans and media the opportunity to see how the team is progressing under first-year head coach Alex Golesh. Auburn’s fanbase is still displeased with Hugh Freeze’s three-year tenure, and with the recent losses of key players to the transfer portal, Golesh will be eager to prove that Auburn has the ability to develop a talented team during the offseason.

Fortunately, Auburn has much to look forward to in 2026. With the No. 21-ranked recruiting class and a revamped coaching staff, the Tigers are poised to deliver big in Golesh’s inaugural year. Byrum Brown, who followed Golesh from USF, will be the bona fide starter at quarterback from the first practice, hoping to replicate his success after throwing for 3,158 yards and 28 touchdowns while rushing for 1,008 yards and 14 scores, helping lead the Bulls to a 9-4 record.

Brown will have plenty of options to throw the ball despite the departure of Cam Coleman, Malcolm Simmons, Eric Singleton and Horatio Fields, as fellow former USF players Keshaun Singleton, Jeremiah Koger and Christian Neptune has also joined the Auburn football roster.
