It's the final home game of the season for the Auburn football team, and although there isn't a lot to play for when it comes to the post-season, the Tigers have plenty of other things to motivate them to a win.

The first is dashing Texas A&M's College Football Playoffs hopes. The Aggies have lost only two games this season and will have to beat both Auburn and their final opponent, the Texas Longhorns, to get in. Earlier this week, Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko was asked about his team's focus on Auburn with the Texas game looming in the wings, and Elko noted that his team was "single-handedly on Texas - I mean, on Auburn."

So while there is that motivation, the Tigers will also be playing for their future team. Five official visitors will make their way to the Plains for the conference night game and plenty of other recruits will be taking unofficial visits. Below are the Tigers' five official visitors, per Auburn Live.

  • 5-star defensive tackle Justus Terry (uncommitted)
  • 3-star defensive lineman Darrion Smith (Tennessee commit)
  • 3-star linebacker Bryce Deas (Auburn commit)
  • 3-star wide receiver Sam Turner (Auburn commit)
  • 3-star offensive lineman Kail Ellis (Auburn commit)

In addition to the official visits, most of the commits in the Tigers' class of 2025 are expected to make the trip, including edge Jared Smith, running back Alvin Henderson, and quarterback Deuce Knight.

Also of note, 4-star running back Ousmane Kromah is expected to visit unofficially. The Tigers were a major player in Kromah's recruitment, but he committed to Georgia when they hosted Auburn on October 5.

Despite a losing record and frustrating season, the final home game of the year is shaping up to be a big one for the Auburn Tigers. They will kickoff against Texas A&M in Jordan-Hare Stadium at 6:30 p.m.
