Auburn Tigers News: RB target sets commitment date, week five availability report
In today's edition of Auburn Tigers News, a 4-star running back target revises his commitment date, and Auburn football shares availability report ahead of the Oklahoma game
A longtime running back target of the Auburn football team has pushed back his commitment date. 4-star RB Ousmane Kromah was originally set to announce his decision on Saturday, but the impact of Hurricane Helene has created obstacles. Now, Kromah will commit next Saturday, on October 5, when the Auburn Tigers travel to Athens to take on Georgia.
This late in the game, it seems that Auburn and Georgia are Kromah's top two options, but with Auburn's latest troubles on the field the Dawgs may have the upper hand.
From Leesburg, Georgia, Kromah is ranked as the #11 recruit out of the Peach State and the #5 overall running back in the recruiting class of 2025.
Auburn football shares availability report ahead of the Oklahoma game
The Tigers are preparing for week five of college football with two wins and two disappointing losses under their belts. This weekend, Oklahoma will travel to Jordan-Hare for the first time after their SEC debut against Tennessee last week.
Auburn has been dealing with quite a few injuries, and there are several players expected to be out in this weekend's matchup with the Sooners. The players listed on the Tigers' availability report are below, per On3:
DB Tyler Scott – Out
DB Champ Anthony – Out
TE Brandon Frazier – Out
DL Isaiah Raikes – Questionable
K Alex McPherson – Questionable
OL Izavion Miller – Questionable
Tyler Scott's fall camp injury will keep him out for the whole season, and after a terrible leg injury in last week's game, Champ Anthony is expected to use his medical redshirt. Noticeably, freshman wide receiver Cam Coleman has been taken off the list completely after a shoulder injury in week two.
Auburn and Oklahoma will kick off from Jordan-Hare Stadium at 2:30 p.m.
