In today's edition of Auburn Tigers News we look at the injury reports for both Tiger teams ahead of this weekend's matchup and Eugene Asante talks about moving forward after the bye week

After a week off, the Auburn football team will hit the road again this weekend to take on the Missouri Tigers in Columbia. Both the Auburn players and coaches talked about how much they needed this week off to rest and regroup before diving back into the SEC gauntlet.

Due to a new conference mandate this year, teams must provide availability reports ahead of each game that do not have to disclose injuries or statuses but must declare the likelihood that players will participate in the game. Below are both Auburn's and Missouri's reports.

Eugene Asante talks about moving forward after the bye week

It was a restful and productive bye week for the Auburn football team, both mentally and physically. After six straight weekends of football, it was massively important for the players to rest and recuperate, and after three straight losses it allowed time for the team to regroup and focus on finishing strong in the last six games.

"Sometimes, as football players, you need time to refocus and rededicate yourself to your craft and everything you're doing," said Eugene Asante, per Auburn Rivals. "I think the bye week was good in terms of trying to refocus ourselves on everything we need to do and be able to understand we still have goals we want to accomplish with this team. Obviously, we had goals at the beginning of the season. Just readjusting and pivoting our goals and understanding that we can finish the season strong."

The Tigers will kick off at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
