The biggest game in all of football took place last night, and the Auburn Tigers were represented well. Former Auburn linebacker Derick Hall was a star on the defense for the Seattle Seahawks, who beat the New England Patriots 29-13 in Super Bowl LX.

Hall logged two sacks on Sunday night, bringing down New England quarterback Drake Maye for a 10-yard loss in the first quarter, and then forcing a fumble at the end of the third quarter that resulted in a Seattle touchdown.

A three-year starter on the Plains from 2020 to 2022, Hall was a big part of the Tigers' defense during his time in orange and blue. Hall was a 4-star recruit out of high school, originally from Gulfport, Mississippi. The Seattle Seahawks drafted him in the 2023 NFL Draft in the second round, and he has played for the team ever since.

Also on the Seahawks is former Auburn cornerback Nehemiah Pritchett out of Jackson, Alabama. He was selected by Seattle in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He served the Seahawks in every game on kick and punt coverage and returns, and did so in the Super Bowl, as well.

There are also two former Auburn Tigers on the Seahawks staff: Neiko Thorpe and Josh Bynes, both of whom are defensive assistants for Seattle.

Carlton Davis, a former Auburn cornerback, was the only former Tiger on the losing team, but Davis previously won a Super Bowl with Tampa Bay in 2021.
