When it comes to sharing his thoughts on Hugh Freeze's wild football plans, Lane Kiffin is a dog with a bone. He never misses an opportunity to poke fun at Freeze, especially when the Auburn Tigers head coach has some unconventional things to share.

This time, the unconventional thing was Freeze's game plan for taking on Baylor in their season opener. Freeze was in a complete "game-on" mode in his recent appearance on his weekly radio show Tigers Talk when he shared his strategy for their season-opener.

When asked whether all three of his QBs could play against Baylor, Freeze affirmed with a simple "yes."

"This guy ran away from some really good teams like Clemson and Notre Dame. He’s got an extra gear. And so, there’s always a place for that," Freeze added.

Although he followed it up with an explaination, the nonchalance instantly made the comment viral.

And Kiffin knows it's best to strike when the iron is still hot. The Ole Miss Rebels head coach replied with a "fire emoji" to a thread that pointed out the insane combination that Freeze has prepared.

"This year, Auburn will have: 3 different play callers, 3 different QBs. That’s a potential 9 play caller-QB combinations. Absolutely impossible to defend against, Tigers are going nuclear," the tweet read.

Maybe it is the noise surrounding Jackson Arnold getting to Freeze, or him playing it safe, keeping all three QBs for one game, means serious business. It shows how much a season-opening win means to him.

The expectations on Arnold have already been sky-high. Now, both Deuce Knight and Ashton Daniels will undergo the same pressure. Looking at then schedule ahead, a win against Baylor sounds like a must for Auburn.

As they are already coming off a losing streak, falling against the Bears in the season-opener would set a bad tone for the rest of the season, something that Freeze would like to avoid amid his hot seat rumors.

Auburn hits the road to the McLane Stadium to take on Baylor on Friday, August 29.
