4-star recruits Ousmane Kromah and Malachi Goodman react to their official visits to the Plains

Summer recruiting visits always increase over the summer months, and the Auburn football program kicked things off by hosting prospects for unofficial and official visits over the weekend. Two official visitors, 4-star running back Ousmane Kromah and 4-star offensive lineman Malachi Goodman had great things to say about their trips.

Kromah is from Leesburg, Georgia, and is ranked as the #10 recruit out of his state and the #4 running back in the recruiting class of 2025. He was offered by the Tigers last August, but made his first trip to the Plains earlier this year in March.

Derrick Nix is the running back's primary recruiter, and Kromah said the Tigers have gone above and beyond to make sure he feels like a priority. He also sees plenty of opportunity on the Plains.

"They do have I think two seniors leaving and then really there’s not too many people, it’s whoever’s coming in after that," Kromah said, per Auburn Rivals. "It kinda helps me because I obviously want to be seen early, it’s good that they have people leaving."

He will officially visit Miami, Georgia, Florida, and Florida State before making a final decision.

Also on his official visit with Auburn football this weekend was 4-star inside offensive lineman Malachi Goodman. From Paramus, New Jersey, he is ranked as the #6 recruit out of his state and the #10 IOL in the recruiting class of 2025. Goodman was offered by the Tigers in March of this year and likes what he sees from the program.

He arrived on campus this weekend for his official visit just two weeks after his previous trip. The IOL had a great time bonding with the Auburn football linemen and had a great conversation with head coach Hugh Freeze.

"He just seems genuine," Goodman said, per Auburn Rivals. "He seems like he’s not one of the coaches that’s gonna lie to you, not one of the coaches that’s gonna treat you good in the recruiting process and then when you go there, not gonna talk to you at all."

Goodman hopes to have a final decision before the start of his senior season this fall, and will officially visit Penn State, Georgia, USC, and Alabama this summer.
