The Auburn baseball team is facing off against Alabama in a three-game series this weekend and came out of game one victorious. The Tigers beat the Tide 4-2, with senior Tanner Bauman's pitching the key factor in securing the win.

Bauman struck out eight batters and allowed only two runs on five hits in six innings, a career-high for innings pitched and strikeouts. The Tigers took the lead early, with an eighth-inning home run by freshman Cade Belyeu to solidify the win.

Game two of the series will take place tonight at 6 p.m., broadcast on SEC Network+. Game three will follow on Saturday at 5 p.m.

Auburn football hosts three official visitors this weekend

With summer on its way in, official visit season has arrived, and over the next couple of months, the Auburn football program will host plenty of prospects on campus for visits. This weekend, two offensive linemen and a running back will take an official visit to the Plains.

The first offensive lineman is 4-star Malachi Goodman from Paramus, New Jersey. Ranked as the #6 prospect out of his state and the #10 IOL in the recruiting class of 2025, Goodman received an offer from the Tigers in March and is being pursued by some of the top programs in the country. In addition to Auburn, he has official visits locked in for Penn State, Georgia, USC, and Alabama.

The second offensive lineman making his way to the Plains is 5-star offensive tackle Andrew Babalola. From Overland Park, Kansas, Babalola is ranked as the #1 prospect out of his state and the #4 OT in the recruiting class of 2025. This will be Babalola's second trip to campus after visiting earlier this year in March, and is wanted by multiple big programs including Alabama, Michigan, and Texas A&M.

The final official visitor is 4-star running back Ousmane Kromah from Leesburg, Georgia. The #4 running back in the class of 2025 and the #10 recruit out of Georgia, Kromah is being pursued heavily by Georgia and Florida State but Auburn is hanging in his recruitment.
