The Southeastern Conference announced the 2024-25 schedule and Auburn basketball will end the season at home against Alabama
Throughout the offseason, Auburn basketball head coach Bruce Pearl has been hard at work putting together one of the most difficult non-conference schedules the Tigers have ever faced.
Before Auburn even gets to the gauntlet of conference play, the team will face Duke, Houston, and Purdue as well as any number of teams in the Maui Invitational including defending national champion UConn. The Tigers will take on Iowa State in their first Maui matchup, then play either North Carolina or Dayton, and the third game will be against UConn, Memphis, Michigan State, or Colorado.
Earlier this week the SEC released conference schedules for each of the teams, revealing when and where each game would be played. With Oklahoma and Texas joining the conference, the Tigers will travel to Austin for the first time to take on the Longhorns and host the Sooners on the Plains. But perhaps the most notable news is that Auburn football will not be the only team ending their season with an Iron Bowl.
This season, Auburn basketball will end its regular season by hosting Alabama in Neville Arena on March 8, making for what is sure to be a dramatic finish. View the Tigers' full conference schedule below, per Auburn Undercover:
