In today's edition of Auburn Tigers News, seven Auburn football players have been named preseason All-SEC and 11 official visitors will arrive on the Plains this weekend

In head coach Hugh Freeze's second year on the Plains, Auburn football fans are hoping to see clear improvement from a team that has suffered a losing record for the past few seasons. Freeze brought in a top-10 recruiting class and the Tigers are returning several key players from last year.

As usual, Phil Steele has released his four teams of preseason All-SEC honors, and seven Auburn football players made the cut. Despite a strong performance last season, linebacker Eugene Asante was left off the list.

First Team: Cornerback Keionte Scott (punt returner), running back Jarquez Hunter

Second Team: Tight end Rivaldo Fairweather

Third Team: Wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith

Fourth Team: Kicker Alex McPherson, edge Jalen McLeod, cornerback Kayin Lee

Official visitors will arrive on the Plains this weekend

In what is likely the final official visit weekend for the Auburn football program until this fall, 11 prospects are expected to make their way to campus. Headlining this weekend's group is USC quarterback commit Juju Lewis, who is a top priority for the Tigers.

The 5-star was recently on campus for an Auburn 7-on-7 camp, and returns this weekend for an official visit after his OV to Southern Cal and ahead of his OV to Colorado. Lewis plans to make an official decision about where he will attend college before his senior season begins this fall.

Also of note is 4-star safety Eric Winters, who has spent a ton of time on Auburn's campus. The Tigers' coaching staff is hoping to seal the deal with the in-state safety this weekend. Below is the complete list of expected official visitors, per Auburn Rivals:
