In today's edition of Auburn Tigers News, Keldric Faulk talks about next week's matchup against the Georgia Bulldogs and CBS Sports condemns the Tigers after Saturday's loss

It has been a disappointing season so far for Auburn football, to say the least. After dropping another conference loss to Oklahoma, the Tigers will be forced to attempt a bounce back against one of the top teams in the nation in the Georgia Bulldogs.

The Dawgs will be coming off a loss to Alabama, and will be returning to their home field to take on the Tigers during their homecoming celebration. It's a recipe for disaster if you're Auburn.

But, according to AL.com, the team leaders have not lost hope and want their teammates to remain motivated amid the SEC grind.

“How we pick up the momentum is [Georgia] put us as their homecoming. So that’s enough motivation as it is,” Keldric Faulk said after Saturday’s game. “We’ve got to create our own momentum throughout the week, and then come Saturday, they’re going to get everything we’ve got.”

Meanwhile, the folks at CBS Sports are less optimistic than Keldric Faulk. The Tigers arguably outplayed Cal, Arkansas, and Oklahoma, but still found ways to lose the ballgame. After three consecutive losing seasons, the odds of having a fourth are skyrocketing. CBS Sports' Shehan Jeyarajah painted a bleak picture for the Tigers:

"Under Freeze, Auburn has put together a masterclass in dropping winnable games over the past two years. So far this year, the Tigers have arguably outplayed California, Arkansas and Oklahoma only to lose. A year prior, the Tigers blew fourth-and-31 against Alabama and suffered a three-touchdown loss against New Mexico State. Auburn is already a bad team. The last thing they need is to lose games in which they actually play well. Finding Even two more wins on the schedule is awfully difficult. Fielding the worst season since Gene Chizik was fired is on the table."

The Tigers will return to action and try to pull off their first SEC win this weekend in Athens, Georgia, against the Dawgs at 2:30 p.m. central time.
