In today's edition of Auburn Tigers news, one of the Tigers' quarterbacks talks about the upcoming EA College Football 25 game and Bruce Pearl discusses shuffling the guard rotation.

Details are finally starting to come out about the new EA College Football game, and it seems that the release is drawing closer and could be later this year. Reports indicate that college football players will be allowed to opt-in to the game, and those who do will receive $600 and a copy of the video game.

The expected release date could be as early as this summer, and would be the latest version of the game since NCAA 2014 ten years ago.

Should they all choose to opt in, Auburn football could potentially have four quarterbacks in the upcoming video game: Walker White, Hank Brown, Holden Geriner, and Payton Thorne. According to Auburn Daily, playing as himself in the game would be a dream come true for Brown:

"Growing up playing this game, it's going to be so dope to able to play as myself in there at quarterback," Brown said. "I've always dreamed of one day being in a video game and all I can do is give glory to God that the dream has come true."

The loss to Kentucky was a big blow for the Tigers, especially with the injury to forward Jaylin Williams. With Williams out for the next few games, the guards are going to have to step up, which was also a problem when the Tigers took on the Wildcats.

Since starting SEC play, Auburn basketball's guards have struggled, especially Aden Holloway. With Tre Donaldson getting into foul trouble early against Kentucky, Denver Jones had to step into the rotation with Donaldson and Holloway, and we can expect to see more of that over the next few games, per AL.com:

“I know as of late, Coach BP told me that he wanted to get a few reps at point, just because of defense, really,” Jones said after the loss to Kentucky. “Tre in foul trouble did kinda move me into the point guard position a little bit longer than expected.”

With an injured Williams, multiple Tigers will have to step up to play various roles as Auburn heads into the final stretch of regular season play.
