In today's edition of Auburn Tigers News, high-profile recruits react to a big recruiting weekend on the Plains and Johni Broome is named third-team All American by the AP

This past Saturday the Auburn football team hosted over 30 recruits on campus in what head coach Hugh Freeze called 'a massive recruiting weekend.' Visiting prospects got to meet with the coaching staff, observe spring practice, check out the facilities, and enjoy food trucks and a DJ outside the Woltosz Football Performance Center. Here are some quotes of note from recruits that made the trip, per Auburn Undercover.

Zion Grady | 4-star Edge | Enterprise, AL

“The experience on The Plains was great,” Grady said. “I think the fact that they continue to make me feel like a priority. They are also building something special with the young talent they have.”

Broderick Shull | 4-star OT | Bixby, OK

“This weekend at Auburn was one to remember,” Shull said. “The community, the facilities, the coaches, and their message in general is tops in the nation and has had me hooked. I got good vibes from all coaches, including coach Freeze and (offensive line) coach (Jake) Thornton. Lastly, their message — they care about players and their families, especially how the community can help them in any sort of way."

Grayshaun Swain | 3-star Edge | Huntsville, AL

“It was a great visit,” Swain said. “Got the chance to go over the defense and scheme. The staff message was that they really like my game and that I’m one of the top pass rushers in my class.”

Johni Broome named third-team All American
