Today 4-star safety Anquon Fegans will make his official commitment decision.

Following an extremely successful Big Cat Weekend on the Plains, the Auburn football program has the opportunity to add another commit to their recruiting class of 2025 today. 4-star safety Anquon Fegans, from Alabaster, Alabama, will announce his choice this evening.

The Thompson High School product is ranked as the #3 safety in the recruiting class of 2025 and is the #2 prospect out of the state of Alabama. He has been a priority target for Auburn for some time, and signs are pointing to Fegans ending up as a Tiger by the end of the day. He has multiple predictions to end up on the Plains from On3 Sports and 247 Sports experts.

Fegans will choose between his top four schools, LSU, Georgia, Clemson, and Auburn football, and he visited both LSU and Auburn over the weekend ahead of his announcement.

The elite safety has formed strong relationships with head coach Hugh Freeze and co-defensive coordinator Charles Kelly, and his older brother Antwon Jr. transferred to the Plains from Northwestern State, creating a high level of comfort for Fegans.

“Things are going very good," said Fegans, per Auburn Live. "Me and Coach Freeze, we talk, we text each other back and forth every day. He sends me quotes every day. So, me and him, we’re just building that relationship.”

Should Fegans choose Auburn football, he would be the 20th commit to join the Tigers' class of 2025, which is currently ranked #11 overall. He would join eight other commits from around the state of Alabama, and he would be the second safety commit in the class after 4-star Eric Winters from Enterprise, Alabama.

Fegans is set to make the announcement at a ceremony in Birmingham this evening at 6 p.m. central time.
