Big Cat Weekend is back! This Saturday, Auburn football commits and targets will descend upon the Plains for the biggest recruiting event of the year. Not only will top targets from the classes of 2025 and 2026 make their way to campus, but all 16 of the Tigers' class of 2025 commits are expected to be in attendance.

One of those 16 commits is 4-star running back Alvin Henderson, who recently flipped to the Tigers from Penn State. Ranked as the #8 RB in the recruiting class of 2025, the in-state prospect committed to the Nittany Lions back in April but flipped his commitment to Auburn football in late June.

Since committing to head coach Hugh Freeze and the Tigers, Henderson has not been shy about recruiting other players to his future school. This weekend will be his first Big Cat Weekend experience, and he told Auburn Rivals he is looking forward to seeing his future teammates.

"The main thing I'm looking forward to about Big Cat this weekend is I've actually never been. I've taken plenty of visits to Auburn but I'm ready to get up where it's gonna be a big weekend where all the commits are together. All the commits being together, some of the dudes that will be future commits with us, just being able to get around them, have a little bonding time and enjoy the weekend."

The 'future commits' Henderson refers to could become current commits this weekend, as BCW is known for producing a couple of commits every year. Names to keep an eye on include Anquon Fegans and Jared Smith, a pair of in-state teammates from Thompson High School.
