Throughout his first year on the Plains on head coach Bryan Harsin’s inaugural Auburn football staff, Trovon Reed has been an invaluable asset. Reed stepped up big time on the recruiting trail, helping secure major prospects from the state of Louisiana like Austin Ausberry and Enyce Sledge.

Bryan Harsin brought Trovon Reed onto his staff early on, assisting in player development and speaking to the team as a former player himself. Reed personally knows the journey of being an Auburn football player and has a deep love for the Plains.

Reed played for the Tigers from 2010 to 2014 and was a team leader all four years. He began his career in orange and blue as a receiver before switching to cornerback his senior year.

After working closely with Harsin during his first season at Auburn, Reed will officially be the Director of Football and Player Relations for the 2022-23 season:

Although fans have spent the past several months clamoring for Reed to be hired as the wide receivers coach, they were extremely excited for his promotion within the staff:

Trovon Reed will no doubt prove to be a great hire for Bryan Harsin and will continue to raise the bar for Auburn football.
