Auburn might not be an underdog entering OU Memorial Stadium Saturday. Still, The Tigers have one offensive unit that the Sooners head coach Brent Venables thinks will be a challenge to stave off: wide receivers

Venables thought Auburn's offense was a particularly solid unit in itself, but it's wide receiver room is what stands out, and could be a problem for them.

The Sooners head coach was particularly impressed with star WRs Eric Singleton Jr. and Cam Coleman.

"Singleton is a new addition and really explosive playmaker," Venables said. "When he touches the ball, he has a chance to score. Coleman is elite; he had a good game against us last year. He has a big catch radius, he's super instinctive and can go up and get the football.

"Coleman, he's elite. He's got great length to him. Had a good game against us last year. He's got great catch radius. Super instinctive. He can really go up and get the football. Gonna be another area that's a big challenge for us."

In terms of strength, Venables compared Auburn's offense to their defense.

"They're really good there, that's where it all starts," the coach said. "Again, there's a reason they've rushed for 10 touchdowns. They had 13 all of last year, so they're better up front, they're better at receiver, they're better at quarterback. I just look at all the efficiencies and they've been a really clean, efficient unit.

"Their offense looks like our defense from an efficiency and cleanliness and the things you've got to do to win, they've been able to do. I think they are about 50% conversion rate on third down, they are a 100% conversion rate on fourth down. Again, that's a small sample size like us as well, but they're playing with a lot of confidence right now and getting better, so it's going to be a great challenge."

We'll see whether it is OU's defense or AU's offense that comes out on top.
